Dr. Ken Endean

Senior Pastor

Pastor Ken Endean has devoted his life to pastoral ministry, Christian education, and the mentoring of young people. In 2014, Dr. Endean became the fourth president of International Baptist College and Seminary, a ministry of TBC, and was called as the third pastor of Tri‑City Baptist Church in 2019, where he continues to serve with a burden to mentor the church congregation toward a Biblical worldview, rooted in a clear understanding of God’s love and holiness with gospel clarity.

Pastor Endean and his wife Judy, a lifelong music educator with over 40 years of teaching experience, have three adult children who are all actively serving in Christian ministry and education. Pastor Ken and Judy are the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren.

Pastor Jeff Caupp

Executive Pastor/Asian Ministries

Pastor Jeff Caupp, under the ministry of Dr. Collins Glenn in Muncie, Indiana, was saved at a young age. Being raised by a Christian mother and a father who came to know the Lord at the age of 48, Jeff valued both Christian education and the men and women who lived Godly lives before him. The love for Jesus that they shared led Jeff to earn a Bachelor of Science from Maranatha Baptist University in 1994 and a Master of Divinity from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in 1999.

In 2006, after working for six years at Abbott Labs in North Chicago, Illinois, Jeff and his family, Lisa, Acadia, Clayton, and Jeffrey Paul, came to Arizona. Since that time, Jeff has had the privilege of serving as a professor, Academic Dean, Graduate School Administrator, and the Dean of Students at International Baptist College and Seminary. He has also served TBC as a leader of a Care Group, as the leader of the Re:Generation Adult Bible Fellowship, and as the Asian Ministries pastor. Jeff has served in his current role as Executive Pastor since July of 2017.

Pastor Bryan Miller

Children’s Ministry Pastor

Pastor Miller was born in Canton, Ohio, but considers Chandler, Arizona, to be his hometown. He distinctly remembers accepting the Lord as his Savior at age 6: “I was on top of my bunk bed, wearing Mickey Mouse pajamas. I had just spent a week at day camp. A message from camp held onto my heart, and I knew I needed to ask Jesus to be my Savior. So, right there in my bed I prayed and asked the Lord to save me from my sins.” This experience undoubtedly influenced Bryan’s later decision to work in children’s ministry. He received a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from International Baptist College and Seminary and became Children’s Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church in 1996, though he had already been serving in their children’s ministry for ten years. Bryan and his wife Debbie have three adult children: Erin, Emily (TCA Teacher), and Andrew (Youth Pastor), and are the happy grandparents of three young grandchildren.

Pastor DJ Oldham

Re:Vive (college)

Pastor DJ was born in Asheboro, North Carolina. He began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ after accepting Him as His only means of forgiveness and righteousness at 6 years old. In his junior year of high school while at The Wilds Christian Camp, DJ surrendered his life to anything God had for him.

After this turning point in his life, God led him to serve in various roles within the church: directing children’s and youth ministries as well as two pastoral internships related to college ministry.

While initially pursuing a degree in civil engineering to help his father with their family business, DJ’s primary purpose of attending college changed to personal evangelism and outreach on the college campus. God allowed him to stay in that mission field for 13 years as he shared the Gospel to fellow students from all over the world. DJ holds a Ph.D. in Nano Engineering from North Carolina A&T and a Ph.D. in Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering from Arizona State University. Pastor DJ taught as an adjunct professor at Bob Jones University for one semester until he knew God was calling him next to college ministry at Tri-City Baptist Church where he is currently serving as College Pastor. He and his wife Angelina have two young children.

Pastor Dan Olson

Associate Pastor

Pastor Dan Olson grew up at Tri-City Baptist Church and graduated from Tri-City Christian Academy in 1982. His father served as TBC’s business manager for many years. Dan and his wife Colette are both retired Air Force Air Traffic Controllers. Dan served for 30 years and reached the rank of Chief (E-9). He has an MBA and has served in England, Turkey, Alaska, and Japan as well as several bases here in the U.S. After retiring from the Air Force, Dan became an Assistant Pastor at Tri-City in 2012. Dan and Colette have two children and several grandchildren and greatly enjoy spending time with them.

Pastor Jim Sproul

Jim Sproul was saved at the age of 12 when his brother Dave shared the Gospel with him. He received a B.A. from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and a B.D. from San Francisco Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Jim has spent most of his life in ministry, starting with the Sproul Evangelistic Team in 1969. He has served as an assistant pastor, music director, Christian school principal, junior high youth director, teacher, drama director, and weekly TV broadcast editor and announcer. In 2003 Pastor Jim became an administrator and teacher at International Baptist College and Seminary. His primary work since 2007 has been serving as Senior Adults and Outreach Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church. He and his wife Kay Lynn have two daughters and eleven grandchildren.

Pastor Dave Stertzbach

Music Pastor

Pastor David Stertzbach was saved at the age of five. He received a B.Mus. in Church Music with a Voice Proficiency and an M.Mus. with a Conducting Proficiency from Bob Jones University. Pastor Stertzbach spent eleven years ministering at Trinity Baptist Church and School in Williston, Vermont, before coming to Tri-City Baptist Church in 2005 where he displays a passion to pastor God’s people through music. He also teaches music at Tri-City Christian Academy and International Baptist College and Seminary and is the director of the Chandler School of Fine Arts. Dave and his wife, Becky, have two married adult children and enjoy their adorable grandson.
